This challenge focuses on helping you maintain a strong mind and body. Students can register and join the challenge at any time during the semester. Upon finishing your registration, you will be emailed a password. Use this password to join the portal and officially begin the challenge.
Koru Mindfulness is a 4-week course where participants will learn mindfulness and meditation skills. Through this curriculum taught by certified Koru Mindfulness instructors, you may experience less stress, better sleep, and less self-judgment. Attendance at all four sessions is required. Classes are limited to 12 students and registration is on a first-come, first served basis. You will receive an email with further instructions after completing registration.All classes take place in the Plemmons Student Union. Room numbers will be sent after registration.

Monday 3/25, Wednesday 3/27 and Friday 3/29: Get a FREE Pill Box - 12pm - 3pm at Cascade Foyer in the Plemmons Student Union
Western Youth Network will be tabling and giving out pill boxes to students. Pill boxes are small lock boxes where you can keep your medication, so that people you live with can't get into your medicine. Locking up your pills can help prevent drug abuse and overdose, and make App State a safer campus for all. Stop by Cascades Foyer in the student union to get your box!
Wednesday 3/27: y(OUR) Story - 8pm in the Blue Ridge Ballrooms (PSU 201AB)
y(OUR) Story is a collaborative production hosted by Wellness and Prevention Services. Through partnering with actors, dancers, painters, poets and other artists, true mental health stories submitted by those in our community will be shared.Your story is (our) story
Thursday 3/29: Pill Collection Day - 10am - 3pm at Cascades Foyer in the Plemmons Student Union
Stop by the student union to drop off any unused or expired medication. You don't need to sign any paperwork or show any I.D.!
Saturday 3/30: Out of the Darkness Walk - 2pm - 3:30pm in Linville Falls Room (PSU 226)
Walk to save lives. Help raise money for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention
